The Terry Mangan Memorial Library
The Terry Mangan Memorial Library, the largest LGBT collection in Colorado, is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Terry Mangan was one of Colorado's first gay activists and archivists. He was a founder of the Gay Liberation Front and was the first coordinator of the Gay Coalition, a group founded in 1973 to combat police harassment of gays and lesbians. After his death in 1976, the library of the Gay Coalition and other books from his estate were donated to The Center in his memory to seed our library.
