Community Advisory Committees

The purpose of the Community Advisory Committees (CAC) is to help gain greater visibility for The Center and its programs, connect us with new people and ideas and to provide feedback to The Center.

Current Community Advisory Committees include:

Rainbow Alley - The only drop-in center in Denver for LGBT youth ages 12-21 providing safe space, programs and events.

Legal & Advocacy - Securing civil rights through litigation, mediation, legislation and public education.

Community Programs - Health & Wellness; Elder; Family;Volunteer; CyberCenter and Library for a more vibrant LGBT community.

Denver PrideFest - The 7th largest Pride event in the country!

Transgender - Helping to address the issues important to the transgender community.

Communications - Assist in developing marketing, event, outreach, and evaluation plans for The Center.

The Center is always looking for new people to join our CACs. What we're looking for in CAC participants are people who are connected to the community, committed to The Center's direction, committed to the LGBT population, and are willing to volunteer their time to serve as ambassadors and advocates.
