About the Transgender Program
The Center's Transgender Program is a welcoming, affirming program for transgender and gender diverse individuals. We offer weekly and monthly social and support groups, events, and opportunities to connect with our community.
We also offer engaging classes, such as yoga or art workshops, host community discussions, and provide fingerprinting services on-site.
The Queer Author Expo returns this fall!
The Center is proud to host the 6th Annual Queer Author Expo, featuring creatives from the LGBTQ+ community! The Queer Author Expo provides authors, illustrators, publishers, and writers with an opportunity to sell their work and network with other creatives. Event attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet with the creatives, purchase signed books, and support the community.

Thank you for celebrating Transgender Day of Visibility with us!
Nearly 200 people came out to The Center to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility!
“There were so many people who were visiting The Center for the first time and it was wonderful to see how welcomed they felt,” shared Joy Iwancio, our Support Group Coordinator. “It was also so wonderful to see families attend with parents supporting their trans and gender diverse kids.”
“My favorite part of the event was coordinating the speed friending,” reminisced Sable Schultz, Director of Transgender Services. “I received several comments from attendees about how much they enjoyed getting to meet people and form connections through their conversations.”
“I was also so impressed by the eloquence and passion of the speakers at our open mic,” said Joy. “It was such an amazing day celebrating trans and gender diverse people.”
Thank you so much to everyone who attended, our fabulous volunteers, and our amazing partner organizations who all made this event possible! We are so thankful to have been able to celebrate this joyous occasion with our community.
