SAGE Friendly Visitor Program
The SAGE Friendly Visitor Program is an outreach program that provides weekly visits to GLBT elders (50+) residing in care centers and independent or assisted living communities who may need friendship, companionship, and support. Volunteer and senior matches are based on shared interests, personality, and volunteer availability as much as possible.  If you would like to become a friendly visitor, know a senior, or are a senior who would benefit from this program please visit our SAGE Friendly Visitor page for more details.

SAGE Telling Your Story Project
Monday | 1:30 – 3:00pm
A storytelling group for elders. The sharing of life stories is a very rich and rewarding undertaking. Memories are stimulated, connections are made, and meaning is given to how we got where we are, both individually and as a community. Whether you choose to write or tell your stories aloud, your own history is worth sharing. If you want to be part of this wonderful and enriching experience, feel free to join in.

SAGE Men’s Coffee Group
Tuesday | 10am – Noon
Join old friends and make new ones at our weekly social drop-in for men (50+) to share coffee and good conversation.

SilverSneakers® YogaStretch
Wednesday | 10:30 – 11:30am
A certified SilverSneakers® instructor will lead you through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.  SilverSneakers® members from all skill levels are invited to drop in and participate.

Thursday | 10 – 11am
A gentle yoga class designed to nurture your body.  Classes consist of simple breathing exercises, with warm-ups and simple postures.  LGBT elders from all skill levels of Yoga (new to more advanced) are welcome to join.

SAGE Open Art Studio
Thursday | 10am – 12pm
This creative space will provide a variety of materials to work with, community to meet, and an on-site artist to support experimentation and to help make those creative ideas or images come alive. This time is not just about a finished product … try out something new, use your body and your senses to surprise yourself! All LGBT elders welcome. Art supplies provided!

SAGE Lunch & Learn Series
3rd Wednesday | 11:30 am – 1pm
A monthly sponsored meal accompanied by an informational presentation on a subject of interest to adults 50+. Topics are based on community members’ needs and interests.

Village at Lowry Coffee Group
3rd Friday | 10 – 11:00am

Join us for a monthly conversation with community members living in or near Village at Lowry, a Brookdale Senior Living community.

Studies have found that medication reviews can correct some medication-related discrepancies, lower medication costs, and decrease the number of drugs prescribed. Our partners at Scales Pharmacy will review prescribed medication, dietary supplements, over the counter medication, etc. at no cost to you. SAGE Outings
Our group of 50+ adults regularly gets together for fun outings to local venues such as the Denver Center for Performing Arts, Colorado History Museum, local art galleries, and free concerts or lectures. Check the SAGE calendar or subscribe to our weekly email newsletter for more information.
